CAMPEONATO DA EUROPA - CÁDIZ 2008

Quando faltam menos de dois meses para o Campeonato da Europa de 2008 de Andebol de Praia, deixo aqui a história classificativa dos outros quatro Campeonatos Europeus:

SORTEIO DO MASTERS DA EBT/EHF

Ora aí está o aguardado sorteio da Fase Final da Ebt 2007 em Valencia (ESP) onde as equipas Flying Kangaroos e Balonmano Playa Barbate (Espanha) vão tentar defender o seu título de campeões nesta final.
No grupo feminino, podemos encontrar alguns jogos interessantes nesta 1ª fase de grupos, como por exemplo o jogo entre as Flying Kangaroos e a equipa do WBHC Kontesa Nera (Grupo A) ou o jogo entre duas das melhores equipas espanholas da actualidade: Team G-Sola vs Malaga Costa del Sol.
No lado masculino, temos o embate entre o Balonmano Playa Barbate e a equipa Beach Boys Köln como o jogo mais interessante do Grupo A. Outro jogo interessante será certamente o jogo entre os finalistas da edição de 2006: Budapest e LETO 2002.
Azar parece ter tido a representante portuguesa: o Arsenal de Canelas, que sendo a 10ª equipa a ser sorteada, calhou no Grupo A, dos actuais campeões europeus e da forte equipa alemã de Colónia.

TORNEIO DOS DESCOBRIMENTOS





Numa excelente organização do Clube Escola Secundária Gil Eanes, decorreu em Lagos o Torneio dos Descobrimentos. Este torneio teve as duas versões: Indoor e Praia. E foi com esta segunda vertente, que a Praia da Batata, em Lagos, voltou a ter Andebol de Praia, num regresso nostálgico a essas grandes organizações que eram as Fase Finais em Lagos. Para a história ficam algumas fotos dessa tarde espectacular, onde o Andebol de Praia regressou a um local mítico.

FASE FINAL 2007 - RESULTADOS DO INQUÉRITO


Terminou também a possibilidade de votar no inquérito levado a cabo sobre a Fase Final do Campeonato Nacional de 2007, na Nazaré. Como era de prever, a maioria dos votantes, achou que a Fase Final foi mal organizada (73%), com regulamentos pouco claros (56%) e nem muito (47%), nem pouco competitiva (47%) (assim um meio-termo).

Já a arbitragem recolheu muitos votos favoráveis, pois 60% considerou que esta Fase Final teve boas arbitragens, assim como 73% dos votantes, reconheceram a existência de muito fair play (73%) e de um andebol de praia espectacular (47%).

Assim, urge então rectificar o que está mal, e optimizar os aspectos positivos, para que em 2008, o Andebol de Praia seja ainda mais espectacular.

Depois de uma pausa forçada por outros compromissos, igualmente importantes, eis-me de volta, a par com o Sol, esse elemento vital do nosso Andebol de Praia.

Preamble
The 8th EHF Extraordinary Congress in Rome / ITA on 26/27 Sept. 08 voted in favour of
introducing a Commission to deal solely with the sport of Beach Handball. This will consist of
a Chairman and four members, with the following tasks:
• Events and Competition
• Officiating
• Game Design and Coaching
• Development and Promotion
The representatives on this new body will be elected at the next EHF Ordinary Congress,
scheduled to take place in Vienna on 26/27 September 2008, upon which the Commission
will become an active EHF Body.


Motto: Via FAIR PLAY to the OLYMPICS
The EHF Beach Handball Commission regards itself as an initiator of projects in order to
develop Beach Handball as an independent sport discipline within the European Handball
family. Furthermore the BC will support the National Federations in order to promote Beach
Handball in their counties..
The main target for the future: to lay down the foundation to become an Olympic discipline!
Both the EHF Beach Handball Commission and the EHF Office Business Unit Beach
Handball shall further develop the product “Beach Handball” as well as adapt the
relationships to external partners in Beach Handball – in particular concerning TV and
internet live streaming - to the needs of our times regarding their daily business in order to
make the product fit for the market in cooperation with the EHF Technical Commissions and
the EHF Executive Committee.


Masterplan objectives:
1. To define the principles of the basic EHF BC working philosophy
2. To formulate the main areas and goals.


Principles of the basic EHF working philosophy in the BC:
- Advisory, inspiration, co-ordination and conceptual functions of the BC should have
the priority

- BC work needs availability of time
- Clear definition of goals, tasks and controlling tools
- Concentration on selected areas based on the specific competence and experience
of the BC members
- Finding out the optimal balance between “traditional” attitude and “innovation”
changes
- Improvement of communication and information exchange with the target groups and
other EHF bodies
- Practicability for target groups
- Perfection of the product


Working approach:
1) 1st EHF BC meeting September 2008 (on the occasion of the EHF Congress)
- Orientation (to become familiar with the tasks defined for the BC
members)

Beach Handball Master Plan for 2008-2012


À medida que o Verão se aproxima (embora pareça que o S. Pedro é mais adepto do indoor) a EHF vai lançando vários projectos relativos ao Andebol de Praia Europeu. Assim , na Hungria, na semana passada, a Comissão Executiva da EHF, adoptou um Master Plan para o Andebol de Praia, num período de quatro anos: entre 2008 e 2012.
Este Master Plan, foi elaborado conjuntamente com a task force do andebol de praia europeu, e pretende entre outras coisas, ser a base de trabalho da Comissão Europeia de Andebol de Praia, que irá ser eleita no Congresso da EHF em Setembro de 2008. Ora aí está um bom motivo para Portugal se candidatar a alguma comissão...

EBT TOUR - A EUROPA UNIDA EM TORNO DO ANDEBOL DE PRAIA

Desde 2003 que a EBT - Tour é uma realidade na Europa do Andebol de Praia. À volta deste projecto juntam-se milhares de atletas, centenas de torneios e dezenas de países.
Portugal, já experimentou de tudo: teve uma só etapa inscrita (Espinho 2003), teve todas as etapas (Furadouro, Lagos, Nazaré e Pedrógão - 2004),teve equipas bem cotadas neste ranking internacional, sendo o 3º lugar alcançado pela equipa, então campeã nacional de seniores femininos, a HTH, a melhor classificação até hoje, recebeu a melhor equipa europeia no Furadouro (Barbate-Esp), deixou de ter etapas inscritas, deixou de receber equipas estrangeiras e volta agora a ter uma equipa portuguesa: o Arsenal de Canelas, posicionado no 5º lugar do ranking de acesso à Fase Final da EBT de 2007, que se irá jogar em Maio deste ano em Valencia.

ESTRUTURA DO CAMPEONATO NACIONAL DE 2008


Os resultados do inquérito que levamos a cabo sobre a estrutura do Campeonato Nacional de Andebol de Praia de 2008, deixam-nos algumas certezas:

- primeiro, que o modelo que vigorou durante muitos anos, deixa de ter sentido, pois apenas 2%, votaram neste regresso ao modelo antigo;

- segundo, a alternativa, que seria a criação de um modelo competitivo apenas com uma fase, também não acolheu muitos simpatizantes, pois apenas 9% votaram nesta forma;

- terceiro, foi bem acolhida a estrutura do Campeonato de 2007, embora os resultados equilibrados com a alternativa de ter uma nova estrutura, deixe antever, que o ideal seria manter a mesma estrutura de 2007, mas com aperfeiçoamentos!
Eis os resultados:
-Manter a mesma estrutura: 46%

-Ter outra estrutura: 43%

-Ser só com uma Fase: 9%

-Voltar à antiga estrutura: 2%
